I bought an Asus B550MK motherboard online, but it arrived broken. When I tried to use the warranty, they surprisingly said it was void for reasons that didn't seem related. After putting all the parts together, the motherboard didn't work. After testing the other parts thoroughly, it became clear that the motherboard was indeed faulty. I filled out the service request form and sent it to Asus authorized service, but they told me that the problem was caused by a software glitch in the BIOS. But when I got to the warranty center, they said there was physical damage and sent it back. They also made me pay for the shipping because I didn't want them to fix it.
When I asked, they hadn't even done a proper diagnosis yet. They said it wasn't covered by the warranty. If they had looked at it, they would have realized that the problem wasn't caused by what they claimed was "physical damage" (just a small drop of thermal paste during assembly, which doesn't cause any harm since they are insulating substances).
They've kicked me out because of their own faults and are refusing to find a solution. To make matters worse, they suggested a new motherboard to replace the broken one, but it costs a whopping ₺4,500, which is way more than the original ₺3,200 price. It's really disappointing, and if they care about their brand reputation and making customers happy, they should step in to help.
