Asus Warranty Hassle and UPS Pickup Delay


On May 7, 2023, I initiated a warranty request for my Asus product through customer service. They directed me via email to fill out the necessary information. After completing the form, I received an email the next day indicating that UPS would come to pick up the product from my home. However, the courier never arrived. Upon contacting UPS, they informed me that they wouldn't pick up the item in this manner and that I needed to make a reservation. I then contacted Asus again, where the customer service representative assured me that such a situation didn't exist and that I shouldn't take any action. They even mentioned that the UPS representative might be new to the job and might not know everything yet. A week passed, and still, UPS Turkey didn't show up. I reached out to Asus once more, and they suggested that due to the courier's workload, the item might not have been collected yet. The customer service representative I spoke to said that I couldn't hand over the item to the courier myself and that UPS would collect it from the address I provided. When I contacted UPS again, the representative insisted that if I didn't make a reservation, they wouldn't pick it up. So, I made the reservation. The absurd part is that Asus claims I don't need to take any action and assures me that the courier will come, yet UPS insists on making a reservation for pickup. After some time, I contacted Asus customer service again, and this time, they said I could drop off the package at the courier myself. It's like they're making a mockery of me. It's been a full 20 days since I applied to Asus. It's been five days since I made the reservation with UPS, and my product is still with me, not yet sent for warranty repair.
