Asus Denied My Warranty Claim Over Fingerprints on My All-in-One PC Screen

Dear Asus Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with how my recent warranty claim for my All-in-One PC (model ASUS A5702WVARK, serial number SAPTCJ00H256426) was handled. After receiving the product and discovering significant damage to the screen upon first use, I promptly followed all necessary steps, including contacting your support team and providing detailed photos and videos of the damage. However, I was informed that the damage is not covered under warranty, citing "fingerprints on the screen" as a reason to reject my claim. I find this reasoning unacceptable and unprofessional. Assembling and setting up a computer without touching the device is practically impossible, and the presence of fingerprints on the screen during setup is not a valid indication of user-induced damage. This response suggests an attempt to avoid responsibility rather than addressing the issue fairly and ethically. As a customer, I trusted Asus for its reputation for quality and reliability. However, this experience has made me question the company's commitment to its customers and its warranty policies. Rejecting a legitimate claim based on irrelevant or unreasonable grounds undermines customer trust and the brand's integrity. I kindly urge Asus to reconsider its approach and take accountability for the issues with this product. As a global leader in technology, Asus is expected to uphold ethical standards and provide fair resolutions to its customers. I hope this matter can still be resolved amicably, and I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Dr. Selçuk B***
