My Asics Gel Kayano 30 Heels Are Damaged and Causing Pain After Light Use

I purchased the Asics Gel Kayano 30, expecting premium performance from one of the most expensive running shoes on the market. But just 6 months in, and with only light indoor use (1–2 times a week at a gym), the heel areas on both shoes are severely worn and causing painful irritation to my feet.
How can a high-performance running shoe cause this much discomfort? I sent the shoes for inspection, but Asics rejected my claim with no proper explanation. Am I really supposed to go through the Consumer Arbitration Board or court just to get basic warranty rights?
This isn’t an isolated issue either—there are multiple complaints online from other buyers of the same model reporting similar heel damage and pain. Doesn’t that tell you there’s a design flaw?
