Ashley Furniture Center Point Reclining Sofa Practicality Issues With Drop Down Table

bought the Center Point Manual Reclining Sofa with Drop Down Table a few months ago, to be honest it didn't turn out to be as practical as we hoped, we thought the center pull-down table would be perfect for holding snacks or drinks while watching a movie, unfortunately, when something spills, it seeps into the cracks between the couch and the pillows. Cleaning the surface is easy enough, but getting into the creases is a pain. Can’t say much about the comfort, the couch itself is firm yet comfortable, which is nice. But the drop-down table feature just doesn’t add enough value to make up for its drawbacks. If I could do it over, I’d prefer to buy it as two separate pieces, like armchairs, rather than as a single unit. The idea of the drop-down table is good in theory, but in practice, it just doesn't work well for us.
