Arçelik Deep Freezer Warranty Issue

In 2022, a relative sent us an Arçelik deep freezer as a housewarming gift. Upon delivery, one of our household staff members accepted and installed it in their own name. We then discovered that there was no record under our name. After that, we had multiple personnel changes, making it impossible to remember who received the item and installed it. During the summer, the product failed. Arçelik service took it away, only to inform us shortly thereafter that it was irreparable and could not be exchanged or repaired, citing an unreadable serial number as the cause. Our neighborhood is prone to earthquakes, and our house collapsed. Still in astonishment, I was asked for the address of my destroyed house so that I might file a complaint ticket. I couldn't bring myself to say the address of the house I'd lived in for 20 years. Certain events continue to startle people. Furthermore, during the service installation, we were informed that the interior of the deep freezer required occasional cleaning, making the serial number prone to erasure. It would have been prudent for the engineers at the major manufacturing to display the serial number externally. The store where we bought the product collapsed and went bankrupt as a result of the earthquake. Despite having a purchase invoice, the great Arçelik manufacturer refuses to stand by their product. Even when told of the Consumer legislation, which requires paid or free repairs for ten years, their customer service department defends its position, claiming ignorance of such a legislation. Choosing this brand will surely result in regret. After studying this brand, I realized that it is nothing more than an overhyped label, with countless complaints across multiple channels. I was surprised to see that many brands are significantly greater in quality to Arçelik. Educate yourself and avoid buying second- or third-rate, low-quality brands like as Beko, Arçelik, Altus, Grundig, Keysmart, Flavel, Blomberg, Elektrabregenz, Arctic, Leisure, Defy, Dawlance, and Voltas Beko. Choosing these brands that violate regulations can only result in embarrassment and sorrow over your hard-earned money!

They promised to help by assigning a new serial number to the product and replacing it, but they never did. The once-great Arçelik brand now has as much value and prestige as a flea market. Never get involved with this brand and fall into their trap. In terms of after-sales service, I definitely prefer the Vestel brand. It's more affordable, higher quality, and they stand behind their products until the end. Unlike Arçelik, Vestel is a truly quality brand. I will never let Arçelik into my home again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
