Arçelik 6688 DI , High Energy Consumption, Product Exchange Request

In July 2024, we bought the Arçelik 6188 DI dishwasher with a 50 kWh energy label, which had the lowest energy consumption. After measuring the consumption on the Eco program, it matched the value on the label. In September, they replaced our damaged unit with the 6688 DI model, which they claimed had lower energy consumption (43 kWh) that had the same heat pump system. However, the consumption measured in September, with outdoor temperatures around 25°C, was 73 kWh. After multiple measurements, they acknowledged the high consumption but offered no resolution for two months. On December 16th, customer service informed us about a possible refund, but the regional office explained that the heater activation in cold temperatures caused increased consumption, which was not applicable as the measurements were taken at 25°C. They also said we would face the same issue with the new device. Despite price increases, they refused to refund us based on the original price, and the energy label mismatch between 43 kWh and 73 kWh is misleading for consumers. We request a replacement with the 6188 DI model, which is still available in stores.

The call center doesn't even call back to process the return. They say they will take notes and call you for 3 consecutive days. In my last call, they said there is no record of you, let's open a new record. I have never seen such an incompetent company. Call me urgently and take your machine away. I don't even want to see it anymore. Enough.

"The product exchange was carried out on February 28, 2025. I especially thank the representatives from Arçelik Customer Service who contacted me for the exchange. However, the authorized service, which detected the malfunction of a product that is less than 6 months old (2 months old) and used for storing food like a deep freezer in approximately 2 weeks (I received a response every day saying your repair is ongoing), needs to be warned for taking such a long time to conclude the process."
