New Apple ID Cannot Send iMessages Due to Account Restriction
I am writing to report an issue with my Apple account and iMessage, which are linked to the email address [email protected] and ID 203401566. I am using this account on a Samsung S16 device in Medellín, Colombia. On February 6, 2026, starting around 5:00 p.m., I created a new account. However, when I tried to send messages via iMessage, a red icon appeared and the messages were not delivered, as if my account were restricted from sending messages to other users.
What concerns me is that this is a brand-new account, yet from the very beginning it has not allowed me to use the messaging service normally. I have not made any payments or subscribed to any additional services. I simply want to be able to use iMessage without restrictions. I request that my account and ID 203401566 be reviewed in detail, that I be clearly informed of the reason why my account appears to be restricted, and—most importantly—that this issue be resolved as soon as possible so I can send and receive messages normally without the red icon appearing.
