Apple Logged Me Out of My iCloud Without Warning and Lost Access to Important Data
On December 23, 2024, around noon, I contacted Apple customer service to request assistance with changing my iCloud account. The representative who answered logged me out of my account without informing me that the photos, notes, and documents on my old account would remain there and be deleted from my device. After creating a new iCloud account, I realized my data was missing and called customer service again. Since I could no longer access my old account, they made me wait a day to reset the password. After completing the process with my phone number, I was told I would need to wait another three days. Despite having important information on my old account, they couldn’t confirm whether the data had been saved or not. Due to the lack of proper guidance from the representative, I’ve been dealing with this issue for two days now. Additionally, my subscriptions are linked to the old account, and I’m unable to update the payments. This has caused significant inconvenience. I filed a complaint a day ago and still haven’t received a response. This experience is not what I expected from a brand like Apple. I urgently request that my issue be resolved.
