Apple iPhone 12 Water Damage Woes

My iPhone 12 Blue was submerged in water for no more than 5 seconds. I noticed a clicking sound while using it, which has since subsided. Surprisingly, the sound is now emanating from the rear camera rather than the expected bottom speaker location. Furthermore, when I watch videos, the battery overheats significantly, and the sound quality during calls is poor. The volume of the speaker has also been reduced, even during regular ringtone notifications. The side button has also become less responsive. The official website boasts about its water resistance, citing an IP68 rating, but when I visited Zentech Apple in Nilüfer, Bursa, they informed me that water-damaged phones are not covered by warranty. Their solution was to send a new unit for a predetermined fee. I'm looking forward to a resolution to this vexing problem.
