Waterproof Apple AirPods 3 Fail; My Device Fails After Minimal Water Exposure
I thought that the Apple AirPods 3 were waterproof when I bought them, but when a small amount of water got on one of them, the volume started to go down. I called tech support, and they told me to send the device in so it could be fixed. I did what they asked and sent the device in, but I was surprised when they told me it was no longer under warranty and wouldn't be fixed or replaced. Apple's lack of help in this situation is very disappointing to me. I thought the device was waterproof, but when it got a little wet, it didn't work the way it was supposed to. I think this is a problem with the way it was made, so I shouldn't have to pay to fix it or get a new one. I want this problem to be solved in a way that makes me happy. Apple needs to be responsible for how well their products work and how well they are made, especially when they advertise features like being waterproof. I hope that they will acknowledge that my device is broken and offer to fix it or give me a new one, even if it is out of warranty.
