Amazon Won't Let Me Create an Account Due to “Suspicious Activity”
I live in New Holland, Pennsylvania and I am unable to create a new Amazon account on the Amazon.com Android app. Every time I try to sign up, the system refuses to create the account and shows a message that it cannot create an account due to “suspicious activity.” In the past I had an Amazon account, but after having to change my credit cards and my phone number, I am now trying to access Amazon services again. Despite my new information, the system still blocks me and will not let me create a new account. I have an order I want to place, but I cannot even get past the account or access stage. I have tried to reach Amazon customer service, but every support option tells me to log in first. Since I cannot create or access an account at all, I am stuck in a loop where I am unable to contact support or verify anything. There has been no financial transaction yet; the issue is entirely that the system will not allow me to use Amazon. I request that Amazon review my situation, remove the incorrect “suspicious activity” block and either restore my previous account or provide me with a way to securely verify my identity so I can have my old account back and continue using Amazon.
