Amazon Closed My Account for Suspicious Activity Without Explanation
My Amazon account was suddenly closed around June 13 with a notice about “suspicious activity detected” and since that date my account has remained completely closed. I have not been given any concrete explanation of what this supposed suspicious activity is or how it was determined. After the closure, I tried to contact Amazon, but I apparently did not even reach standard customer service and have not received any meaningful response or clarification. I was not told why my account was closed, what activity is considered suspicious, or whether there is any way to appeal or resolve the situation. Because of this closure, I have lost access to my account history, including all my past orders, lists and other account-related data that I rely on. I am asking for my account to be reopened and for all my past orders, lists and other account information to be fully restored, or at least for a clear explanation and a way to rectify whatever issue Amazon believes exists.
