I purchased a Tefal cookware set on Amazon.com on November 11, 2024. The product arrived on November 14, 2024, but it was the wrong item. Instead of a cookware set, I received a frying pan set. I immediately called Amazon and informed them, saying, "The wrong product has been sent." They replied, "Let us check with the courier company first to see if this is a barcode error." The next day, the courier company contacted me and said, "Amazon gave us a frying pan set, so we delivered it to you. The issue is with Amazon, not us." Following this, I waited for Amazon to contact me, but they didn’t. So, on November 14, 2024, I called them again and said, "You gave the courier company a frying pan set, so the issue lies with you." They responded, "In that case, please return the frying pan set, and once we receive it, we will send you the cookware set." Accordingly, I returned the frying pan set on November 15, 2024. Eight days passed, and I received no updates. When I checked my Amazon account, there was no indication that the return had been processed. As a result, I called Amazon again on November 23, 2024, to ask about the status of my return. To my surprise, they said, "We received it on November 19, 2024." I asked, "Then why am I still waiting? The incorrect item has been with you for five days. Why haven’t you sent my cookware set yet?" Amazon’s response was, "We need to conduct a barcode check, which takes 4-13 days." Can you believe this? Amazon not only sent the wrong item but is now delaying the process by taking 4-13 days to verify the return. I told them, "This isn’t my fault. Why am I waiting? Send me my cookware set!" Their reply, in essence, was, "You’ll have to wait; this is how it works." This behavior is unacceptable, Amazon. The cookware set I ordered on November 11, 2024, still hasn’t been shipped as of today, November 26, 2024. I’ve been waiting for 15 days. Please resolve this issue promptly!
