Amazon Sent Me the Wrong Bosch Wipers and Refused a Free Return
I have been a Prime member of Amazon for many years and I expect a more solution‑oriented approach because of this long‑term relationship. I purchased a Bosch Aerotwin wiper set from Amazon at a campaign price of approximately ₺550, while the normal price of the product was around ₺950. In the product description, it was stated that it was suitable for Audi A3, so I ordered it based on this information. However, when the product arrived I saw that it did not match my vehicle model, so I did not install it and it is still standing unused in its box. I requested a replacement for the correct model under the same campaign conditions. Amazon customer service first directed me to the seller and, instead of helping, I felt that they only wanted to get rid of the issue. They stated that a replacement could be made only if the seller accepted. When I spoke to the seller, they told me that Amazon does not have such a practice and that they would not replace the product. When I then tried to return the product, I was offered only a paid return option, even though the problem arose from the product description being incorrect or misleading. As a result, I am left with a product that does not fit my vehicle, despite trusting the information on the site, and despite being a long‑time Prime member I could not get any support from either customer service or the seller. I request that my wiper set be replaced with the correct model suitable for my vehicle under the same campaign conditions, or that a free return or another fair solution be provided so that I do not suffer a financial loss.
