Amazon Repeatedly Charges for Mis-Delivered Item
On June 1, 2026, I placed an order on Amazon.com and was mis-delivered a product. When I contacted Amazon about this, I was explicitly told to keep the item and was assured that I would not be charged for it. Despite this, my account has now been charged three separate times for this item, each time in the amount of $16.36. Every time I contacted Amazon, the charge was credited back and I was told that the issue was resolved and would not happen again. However, the same charge has continued to reappear, as can also be seen from the most recent notification for this order. This situation has cost me a significant amount of time and effort, especially given how difficult and time‑consuming it is to reach a customer service representative. I am repeatedly forced to deal with a problem that Amazon previously confirmed as resolved multiple times. I request that Amazon permanently stop any current or future charges related to this mis‑delivered item and ensure that no further retrocharges or similar transactions are applied. In addition, I am asking for appropriate compensation for the time and inconvenience caused by having to contact customer service repeatedly for the same issue, despite receiving assurances that it would not recur.
