On May 12, 2024, I purchased a Wilson Prostaff 103 tennis racket from Amazon.com.tr. The product was shipped by amazongermany, their affiliate in Germany, and arrived in Istanbul. However, the courier company discovered that the racket was broken and sent it back before delivering it to me. For this order, I paid a total of 4,356.93₺, which included 3,692.31₺ for the product and an additional 664.62₺ for customs fees.
When the product was returned to amazongermany, I only received a refund of 3,692.31₺ for the product itself. The 664.62₺ customs fee has not been refunded. I contacted Amazon.com.tr multiple times over the past year, and they claimed that the issue was government-related and would be resolved within 180 days. Despite following up around 10 times, I received no resolution. Recently, they offered me a store credit, which can only be used on Amazon.com.tr, but my 664.62₺ has not been refunded.
This is unacceptable, as I paid for a product that never reached me, and the customs fee was unjustly withheld. I demand a full refund, including the customs fee, to resolve this issue and address my grievance. Amazon, please take responsibility and return my money.
