Amazon Seller Charges Extra Customs Fee

On March 3, 2024, I bought a 'Brandit M65 Giant Men's Jacket' from the seller Welkit on amazon.com.tr for 4,152₺. On March 20, 2024, when the package was delivered, the courier surprised me with an extra 800₺ customs fee. I declined to make the payment, explaining that I had already paid in full. After reaching out to Amazon customer service, I was informed that the seller is responsible for the customs fee and should not ask the buyer to pay for it. Nevertheless, Amazon stated that they were unable to cover the fee. I made it clear that I had already paid for the product in full through Amazon and requested that they address the issue. However, they declined to accept any responsibility. There appears to be a concerning issue with certain sellers on Amazon's platform who are trying to mislead consumers, and it seems that Amazon.com.tr is not taking any action to address this.
