Amazon Refund Issue: Charged £21 And £35 For Tech Support
I am writing regarding a problem I experienced when trying to obtain a straightforward refund for Amazon order number 202-8744135-0335537, for which the product refund of £25.98 was received on 6 April. While attempting to resolve this normal refund issue, I was directed to various telephone numbers and ended up spending hours on the matter on 7 April. As a result of this process, I have been charged £21.00 and £35.00 on 7 April for what has been presented as tech support, even though I was only trying to obtain a standard refund for a returned purchase. These charges are completely disproportionate to the original issue and do not reflect the fact that I was simply following the directions I was given in order to sort out the refund. I request a full refund of the £21.00 and £35.00 taken on 7 April in connection with this tech support, as these charges arose solely from my attempt to secure a normal refund and do not in any way compensate for the significant time and effort I have already spent resolving this matter.
