Amazon Prime Unauthorized Charge Fee Of $14.99
I have been experiencing an ongoing issue with unauthorized charges related to an Amazon Prime US membership, even though I do not have any Amazon account or registered address in the United States and only use an Amazon Prime account in Türkiye. For approximately the last five months, from April to August, an amount of 14.99 USD has been regularly charged each month to my Yapı Kredi credit card with the description “Amazon Prime us”. When I contacted Yapı Kredi customer support, they informed me that these transactions were processed by Amazon US and that the bank could not intervene or take action on the matter. On 17 July, I contacted Amazon customer support and was informed that my Amazon Prime US membership was canceled and that 60% of the previously charged fees would be refunded. However, almost a month has passed since that date and no refund has been credited to my account. In addition, another 14.99 USD charge was made again this month despite the supposed cancellation. After this, I contacted Amazon Türkiye customer support, expecting them to help coordinate the resolution of the problem with Amazon US, since I am a customer based in Türkiye and my only active Prime membership is in Türkiye. However, I was told that they could not assist me and that the issue is solely under the responsibility of Amazon US, which has left me without any effective support from Amazon Türkiye despite my ongoing victimization. I am severely aggrieved by these recurring, unauthorized Amazon Prime US charges to my card and by the fact that the promised refund has not been processed. I hold both Amazon US and Amazon Türkiye responsible for resolving this matter. I request the complete cancellation of all subscriptions and charges associated with this Amazon Prime US account, a full refund of all 14.99 USD monthly charges made over the last five months, and a written confirmation from the relevant Amazon entities that this issue has been fully resolved.
