Amazon Likemet 55 Console Table Wrong Color and Poor Delivery Issue
I ordered a Likemet 55” console table sold by the vendor “Like My Home” on Amazon (order number 113-1094551-0322622) on March 19, and it was delivered around March 20–21. The main issue is that the color of the product I received does not match the photos shown on the Amazon listing. If the correct color exists, I do not understand why that is not what was sent to me. The delivery itself was also problematic. The item was dropped over my front gate by a man in a white van, not an Amazon vehicle, which I found careless and unprofessional, especially considering that the package was large and heavy. Because of the weight and size of the console table, I paid someone to assemble it for me, so I now have additional out‑of‑pocket costs tied to an item that was not as represented in the listing. I submitted a return request mainly so that there would be a clear record of when I started trying to resolve this, but it has not been easy to reach either Amazon or the seller directly to properly address the color mismatch and delivery issue. I have ordered several pieces of furniture recently and have been disappointed with two out of the three items I have received, even though I purchase a lot from Amazon and generally expect better. I trust that Amazon and the seller will handle this situation reasonably and fairly, taking into account the incorrect color, the poor delivery, and the cost I incurred for assembly, and I am open to suggestions for a fair resolution.
