Amazon Fails to Refund $56 After Missing Delivery
On February 2, I placed an order on Amazon for a backpack to be delivered to my address in Etimesgut, Ankara. Although order number 404-9681032-9939562 was never delivered to me, the payment was still charged to my credit card, and no refund has been issued.
When the delivery did not arrive, I contacted Amazon customer service. During my conversations, I explained the issue in detail, but I was told that they “could not take any action because the system does not allow it,” and no solution was offered. As a result, I neither received the product nor had the $56 USD I paid refunded to my card.
I do not find it acceptable that a refund has still not been issued even though the product was never delivered to me. I request that the full $56 USD paid for order number 404-9681032-9939562 be refunded to me as soon as possible. In addition, if deemed appropriate, I also request that a goodwill gift card be issued to compensate for the inconvenience I have experienced.
