Amazon Charged Twice For EBT Prime Subscription & Want A Full Refund/1 Charge
I am an Amazon Prime EBT customer, and on May 8 and May 9, 2026, Amazon charged my account twice for the $7.41 Prime EBT membership fee, both times taken from my Amazon gift card balance. I only have one membership and did not authorize or expect to be billed twice for the same period, so I consider the second charge to be an unlawful and incorrect debit. Since noticing these charges, I have repeatedly called the main Amazon customer service number in the USA to resolve the issue, but the call keeps disconnecting and I have not been able to reach a representative. As a result, I have had no support or explanation about why I was billed twice. I request that Amazon issue a full refund of one $7.41 Prime EBT membership charge back to my Amazon gift card balance and provide an apology for this mistake, along with a clear assurance that this double charging will not occur again on my account.
