I am an Amazon Prime customer, and I have noticed that I have been charged twice a month for my Prime membership since July 2025. I qualify for the discounted Prime price of $7.48, but instead of only charging me the discounted amount, Amazon has been adding that to the full price and effectively charging me two Prime fees every month. The charges are taken under the name Amanda Cobb from my account at Northeast Georgia Bank, and they are linked to my Amazon account associated with the email address acdesigns***@gmail.com. Because of this issue, I have been paying an extra $14.98 every month that I should not have been charged. I have not yet contacted Amazon customer service about this, as I am bringing the matter directly through this complaint. I request that Amazon calculate all the incorrect duplicate Prime charges since July 2025 and refund the extra $14.98 for each month it was wrongly taken. I also want the billing corrected going forward so that I am charged only the discounted Prime price I qualify for on my Amazon account, and not charged twice in any form.
