Alfa Romeo DS10 Folding Mechanism Broke While Riding – Safety at Risk

In February 2024, I purchased an Alfa Romeo DS10 electric bike, which is still under warranty. Recently, while riding, the folding mechanism on the handlebar broke unexpectedly, causing me to lose control and fall. Thankfully, the road was empty, and I narrowly avoided a serious accident.

When I contacted the service center, I was told this is a known issue but isn’t covered under warranty. This response is unacceptable, as it involves a critical safety component. Human safety should never be compromised by poor-quality materials. I demand that Alfa Romeo addresses this issue immediately, replaces the faulty part under warranty, and ensures their products meet basic safety standards. This matter cannot be ignored.
