I Saw My Alexander McQueen Cream Bag from Beymen Turn Yellow After Just One Use

Exactly one year ago, I purchased a cream-colored Alexander McQueen handbag from Beymen, which was advertised as genuine leather. The bag stayed unused in my closet for a full year and was worn for the very first time only a month ago. Shockingly, after that single use, noticeable yellowing began to appear on the bag’s surface.
I want to emphasize that no cosmetics, detergents, or chemicals came into contact with the bag. When I reported the issue to an Alexander McQueen store, they confirmed that the discoloration was not due to user error—it was a case of the leather naturally changing color. They advised me to request a return or exchange via the original seller, Beymen, in line with brand policy.
I followed this instruction and submitted the bag to Beymen for inspection. Unfortunately, they rejected my claim twice, citing “user error” without providing any detailed explanation or data supporting their decision. There was no transparency, no specifics about what they found, and no meaningful communication.
This experience has shattered my trust in Beymen. We had already faced minor issues in the past, but this dismissive attitude and lack of customer care truly disappointed us. I am calling on Beymen to reevaluate their decision and honor their responsibility as a luxury retailer. A brand like Alexander McQueen deserves better representation, and so do its customers.
