Alexander McQueen Leather Bag Turned Yellow After First Use

Exactly one year ago, we purchased a cream Alexander McQueen bag from Beymen, which was claimed to be made of genuine leather. The bag remained stored in our wardrobe, unused, for an entire year. It was only used for the first time about a month ago, and shortly after, yellow discoloration appeared on the leather. There was no contact with any cosmetic product, detergent, or chemical substance. When we took the bag to an Alexander McQueen store, they confirmed that it was not due to user error — the leather had changed color. They explained that, as per brand protocol, we needed to request an exchange or refund through the store where we purchased the item — Beymen. We submitted the bag to Beymen for inspection. However, after two separate evaluations, they responded that the damage was due to user error. They did not provide any explanation or evidence as to how the damage occurred or on what basis they reached that conclusion. We had already experienced minor issues with Beymen in the past, but this latest situation has completely shattered our confidence in the brand. Sadly, Beymen has become a major disappointment.
