Alcatel TCL 1041 Arrived With Battery Defect

I purchased an Alcatel TCL 1041 feature phone through Vatanbilgisayar.com. When I received the product and turned the phone on for the first time, I immediately received a warning on the screen stating, “Low battery temperature, the handset will shut down automatically,” and the phone turned itself off. I encountered this problem before I was even able to use the device normally.

I then contacted Vatan Bilgisayar customer service and explained the situation. I was instructed to write down the problem I experienced on a piece of paper and send it back with the product. I followed these instructions and shipped the phone back for evaluation. Later, I received an SMS informing me that the service record had been created as if I had replaced the battery myself and that I was being charged for the battery.

I did not make any modifications to the product and I did not replace the battery. The device arrived to me in this defective condition, and I followed the entire process according to the instructions provided by customer service. I absolutely do not accept being charged for a battery when there was no user fault involved. I request that the product be treated as a defective product and that the return or replacement process be completed without charging me any additional fee.

I also request that this incorrect service record be corrected and that I be provided with a clear written explanation regarding this matter. I expect Vatan Bilgisayar to take responsibility for the situation and take the necessary steps to resolve the inconvenience I have experienced.
