AnadoluJet Refused to Refund Extra Fee After Downgrading My Paid Front-Row Seat
On September 16, 2025, during my AnadoluJet flight from Brussels to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, I purchased seat 1F in the front row, which included meal service, by paying an extra fee of €119.41. However, during the flight, I was moved to seat 26F on the grounds of a “pilot instruction,” which meant I could not benefit from the front-row seat I had paid for, though I did still receive the meal service. The base ticket without extras cost €83.22, meaning I overpaid for a service I never received. On September 17, I submitted complaints both via phone and through the online feedback form, but I received two rejection responses. The first rejection even contained incorrect details, listing my flight as Istanbul–Erzurum instead of Brussels–Istanbul. In the second response, despite the evidence I provided, AnadoluJet falsely insisted that I had originally purchased seat 26F, which is completely untrue. My PNR number is 2RU35A. This handling of the issue is unprofessional and has left me with no resolution despite clear proof. I am demanding a refund of the extra fee I paid for the front-row seat, as I was denied the service that I rightfully purchased.
