Ajet Denied My Sister With Cancer Boarding Despite Disability

On July 4, 2025, my sister, who is a stage 4 cancer patient with a 90% disability, was denied boarding on the 10:30 p.m. AJet flight from Ordu-Giresun Airport. Despite having her 4-year-old child and a caregiver with her, she was asked to provide a doctor’s report. In front of the other passengers, she was even asked to remove her wig to prove her illness. As a result of this humiliating treatment, she suffered a nervous breakdown and was left stranded along with the three people accompanying her. Because of this, her PET scan and scheduled treatment for the following day were also delayed. I want to state clearly that we will pursue all necessary legal action to the very end.
