airBaltic Canceled My Ticket but Never Refunded My Money

I am writing to formally complain about the handling of my canceled airBaltic booking and the lack of support I have received regarding my refund request.
I purchased airline tickets from airBaltic for an itinerary from Istanbul to Kuala Lumpur and a return journey from Bali to Istanbul via Kuala Lumpur. After purchasing the tickets, my booking was canceled. Despite the cancellation, the amount I paid for the tickets has not been refunded.
Since the cancellation, I have repeatedly attempted to contact airBaltic to understand the status of my booking and request the refund that I am entitled to receive. I sent emails to customer support, but the responses I received were either incomplete, generic, or failed to address my questions directly. As a result, I have been unable to obtain any clear information regarding my refund.
I also attempted to reach the company through its WhatsApp support channel, but this service does not appear to function properly in Türkiye. In addition, the sales offices I contacted have not provided any meaningful assistance and have shown no willingness to resolve the matter.
At one stage, I was willing to consider changing my booking instead of requesting a refund. However, this option became impossible because airBaltic discontinued its flights to and from Türkiye. Since the airline no longer operates the flights associated with my itinerary, neither rebooking nor modification is a practical solution.
As a customer, I find it unacceptable that my flight was canceled, no workable alternative was provided, and my ticket payment has still not been returned. The lack of communication and support has only increased my frustration and uncertainty.
I respectfully request that airBaltic immediately review my case, process the full refund of my canceled ticket, and provide written confirmation regarding when the refund will be returned to my original payment method.
I also request a clear explanation regarding why my refund has not yet been processed and why my previous attempts to obtain assistance have gone unanswered.
I expect airBaltic to fulfill its obligations as an airline and resolve this matter without any further delay.
