Air Arabia Flight Delay Caused Me to Miss the First Day of My Tour
On April 20, 2026, I was scheduled to fly with Air Arabia from Istanbul to Rabat on Flight 30523, with a scheduled departure time of 12:55 a.m. After waiting at the departure gate for approximately two hours, passengers were informed at around 2:30 a.m. that the flight would not depart as scheduled and had been postponed. Because of this disruption, my 6-night, 7-day "Elegant Morocco Sahara Desert and One Thousand and One Nights" package tour (RBA–RBA), which was supposed to begin on April 20, had to start one day late.
I was kept at the airport for approximately four additional hours before being transferred to a nearby hotel at around 4:30 a.m. Unfortunately, I was unable to get any meaningful rest because there was a water problem in my hotel room. Other than breakfast, no additional assistance or compensation was offered. Throughout the disruption, communication was handled through the Çelebi ground support team.
The prolonged delay at the airport, the sleepless night, and the chaotic environment caused by the large crowd of stranded passengers had a significant impact on me. I experienced heart palpitations, severe sleep deprivation, and considerable emotional distress. The experience has affected my confidence in traveling and has left me anxious about future flights.
To resolve this matter, I request fair compensation for the first day of my package tour that I lost because of the flight disruption. I also ask that Air Arabia take into account the physical and emotional effects this incident had on my health when evaluating my claim.
