Obilet Refused My Flight Date Change After Misinforming Me
I experienced a serious issue regarding my Air Arabia flight departing Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport for Sharjah (Dubai) on May 14, 2026, at 1:45 a.m. I purchased the ticket through Obilet, and my booking reference is 6Y7FTI.
Approximately five hours before departure, I contacted customer service to request a date change for my ticket. The representative informed me that my ticket was not eligible for either a date change or a refund and denied my request. However, during an earlier conversation, another customer service representative had clearly told me that this ticket could be changed up to three hours before departure. Because I relied on that information, I planned my travel accordingly. When I was later given completely different information, I lost the opportunity to change my flight and was unable to use my ticket.
I trusted the information provided by your customer service team, but the conflicting advice I received directly caused this situation. I request that the recordings of my calls be reviewed and that the incorrect information provided by the representative be investigated.
To resolve this matter, my primary request is to be allowed to change the travel date for this ticket without any additional penalty or change fee, since the misinformation came from customer service. If this is not technically possible, I expect Obilet to offer another fair solution that reasonably compensates for the inconvenience caused. I also request a prompt response after a full review of my case.
