I booked a room at Antalya Özkaymak Falez Hotel using Agoda.com. Their website promoted the option to cancel without any charges. Surprisingly, upon attempting to cancel, I stumbled upon a discreet message indicating that a 51% fee would be subtracted upon cancellation. I kindly asked for the cancellation to be processed without any deductions. The hotel informed me that Agoda was responsible for this fee. After reaching out to the hotel, they reassured me that they do not have any such policies in place and would be happy to provide a full refund if necessary. Regrettably, I am unable to contact Agoda through any channels. The email addresses they provided are "no-reply," and unfortunately, the option to submit requests via their AI assistant is not functional; the emails do not go through. Moreover, Turkey lacks any contact information. It is advisable to steer clear of this site if you anticipate needing to cancel any reservations. After patiently explaining the situation for two days, it appears that their motive is not to find a resolution, but rather to unfairly benefit from the situation. As we gear up for the summer season, it's important to exercise caution while using this site.
