On October 13, 2025, I stayed for two nights at the Swiss International Taba Alsalam Hotel, booked through Agoda. On the first night, at around 6:42 a.m., I discovered bugs in my bed and later noticed that the room itself was infested. This was completely unacceptable from both a hygiene and comfort standpoint.
After discovering the issue, I immediately contacted hotel management. They offered to change my room, but refused to issue a refund. I also reported the situation to Agoda, but received an irrelevant response stating, “If you do not check into the property, your reservation will be considered a no-show and 98% of the amount will be charged according to hotel policy.” However, I clearly checked in, and the poor living conditions made my stay unbearable — no guest should have to sleep in a room with insects.
My reservation number is 5879*11**, and I paid ₺6,899.88 via credit card through Agoda. Although my booking was non-refundable, I believe this kind of sanitation issue is completely unacceptable and must override that policy. I’ve never experienced anything like this with other hotel stays before.
I request that Agoda fully compensate me for this incident — either through a refund or official compensation for the distress and poor conditions I endured.
