Agoda Charged My Card After I Deleted My Account—I Want a Refund Now


I opened an account on Agoda.com, added my credit card information, and later decided to delete the account. Despite successfully deleting my account, I was shocked to find that Agoda still charged my card on March 28, 2025. This charge was made after my account was closed, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about how securely Agoda handles user data and payment methods.
I am attaching a screenshot of the unauthorized transaction as proof. There was no booking made, no confirmation email, no receipt—just a charge that should have never happened.
I demand an immediate refund of the full amount that was withdrawn and a clear explanation of how Agoda allowed a charge to go through on a deleted account.
Agoda must fix this issue and ensure that when users delete their accounts, all stored payment methods are permanently removed. I’m incredibly disappointed and expect this matter to be resolved without delay.
