Agoda Charged Twice for Same Hotel Booking — Still No Refund After Cancellation
On October 23, 2025, I accidentally made two reservations at the same time through Agoda for Calista Luxury Resort Hotel. The reservation number for the one I canceled is 1661929285. Immediately after realizing my mistake, I canceled the second booking, but the refund of $998 has still not been processed.
After encountering this issue, I contacted both Agoda customer service and the hotel. The hotel informed me that I needed to resolve the matter directly with Agoda, while Agoda provided no clear explanation regarding the payment and the problem remains unresolved.
Since I accidentally made two identical bookings, I request that one reservation be canceled and that the $998 be refunded to my account as soon as possible.
