I booked a hotel through Agoda, and the payment terms clearly stated:
"No payment required until May 3, 2025. If not canceled, payment will be deducted on May 4, 2025."
However, after updating my credit card details, Agoda immediately charged my card, completely disregarding their own stated policy. This was not authorized, and I was not notified of any changes beforehand.
To make matters worse, the amount charged to my card is higher than the original booking price! There is an unexplained price difference, and I am unable to contact Agoda’s customer support to resolve this issue.
I demand that Agoda refunds the early payment and charges my card on the correct date as per their policy. Additionally, the price difference must be corrected immediately. Agoda needs to honor the terms they promise to customers instead of making unauthorized deductions!
