Agoda Canceled My Phuket Hotel Reservation 2 Days Before Check-In Without Explanation
We made a hotel reservation through Agoda for our stay in Phuket, Thailand, and everything was confirmed. However, just two days before our scheduled check-in, our booking (Reservation No: 5585*39**) was canceled without any explanation.
We are already in Thailand and now struggling to find a place to stay on short notice. It is incredibly frustrating and stressful to suddenly be left without accommodation — especially after receiving a confirmation and planning our travel around it. We still haven’t been given a reason for the cancellation, nor any support to rebook.
How does Agoda approve a reservation and then cancel it at the last minute without even offering an alternative? This is unacceptable.
We are demanding that Agoda compensate us immediately for the inconvenience and additional costs caused by this cancellation. If we do not receive a resolution, we will file a formal complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board and pursue legal action.
Agoda must take full responsibility for this issue and provide either a full refund of the ₺ amount paid or secure us a comparable hotel without delay. Fix this urgently — your customers deserve better.
