Obilet Payment Link Shows Error and Prevents Aeroflot Ticket Change
About a week ago, I purchased an Aeroflot ticket through Obilet for a friend. Because there was a one-letter error in the passenger’s name, I had to change the ticket, and I was asked to pay an additional $85 for the change. However, every time I try to make this additional payment through the payment link sent by Obilet, I receive a system error and the transaction cannot be completed.
Even though I successfully paid for the original ticket with the same card through the same company, I am unable to make the additional payment using either my international or Turkish cards. I have repeatedly tried from different phones and different networks, using three different cards, including foreign-issued cards, but the payment link provided by Obilet continues to produce an error. All of my cards have sufficient funds and are enabled for use both in Turkey and abroad. When I try to complete the payment through Obilet’s website, I receive a “500” error page and the process stops before the payment can be completed.
For approximately five days, I have been trying this payment link every day and contacting Obilet’s customer service representatives each day. Despite this, I am repeatedly told, “You can only make this payment through this link; there is no other option.” I have repeatedly requested the option to make the payment by bank transfer or through another payment method, but no alternative solution has been offered. It is clear that the problem is not caused by me, yet Obilet has failed to provide a workable solution. They also promised to contact me within 24 hours, but they have not kept that promise or called me back.
I paid approximately $1,030 for this ticket, and with only four days remaining until my trip, I am seriously concerned that my ticket could become unusable because I cannot complete the required additional payment. I urgently request that Obilet provide a working alternative payment method, such as a bank transfer or another functioning payment channel, so that I can pay the $85 additional fee required for ticket number VT4TP4 and complete the ticket change.
If Obilet fails to resolve this issue promptly and my ticket becomes unusable as a result, I reserve the right to pursue legal action for any financial loss and inconvenience caused by this failure to provide a functional payment method.
