My Zoom Audio and Camera Won't Work for English Lessons

I'm taking English lessons, but every time I join Zoom, I face the same problem. I can't turn on my audio or camera, and my teacher struggles to help me unmute. I can activate my audio, but even when I accept, Zoom does something on its own and claims I've turned on the sound. When I enter the class, we waste time trying to fix the audio, losing about 8 minutes of our lesson. Our classes are only 25 minutes long, and we spend a significant portion dealing with this issue. Zoom is creating these problems on its own, and I've been struggling with this for two lessons now. As a result, I can't effectively participate in the class. I want this investigated and fixed. Zoom shouldn't be creating these issues on its own.
