Zara Denied Return For Defective Plush Children’s Coat Causing Allergy

On September 21, 2025, I purchased a plush-lined children's coat for my daughter from Zara's online store, order number 53856404229. I purchased the coat for winter use. However, upon first wearing it, I noticed that the plush fur inside was constantly filling my daughter's mouth and causing a sore throat and allergic reaction. Therefore, we cannot use the product. I attempted to return the product, but my request was denied because the return period had expired. When I contacted Zara customer service, they offered no alternative solution. As a customer who has shopped at Zara for years and is experiencing this issue for the first time, I am disappointed that this issue has not been resolved. I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the fact that I purchased this product with a credit card payment of ₺2,359.00 and that my grievance has not been resolved. I request that the return be accepted and my grievance be resolved.
