Yemeksepeti Shows Delivered Even Though Delivery Never Happened

On the night of January 11, around 11:30 PM, I placed an order through the Yemeksepeti app for delivery to my address in Altıntaş Neighborhood, Antalya Aksu from Köfteci Yusuf, paying about $8 USD by card. The order was accepted by the restaurant in the Yemeksepeti app and then showed as “assigned to the courier.” Despite this, my order was never delivered to me.

In the app, the order continued to appear as “with the courier” until 1:45 AM. I have screenshots of this situation and can share them if requested. Later, even though the system marked the order as “delivered,” my door was not knocked on, I was not called, and the delivery was not made in any way. There is no signature, photo, or any evidence showing that it was actually received.

When I contacted the restaurant about what happened, they told me I needed to contact Yemeksepeti. On the Yemeksepeti side, it was not possible to reach clear, solution-oriented customer support regarding this order that is showing as delivered. As a result, an order that clearly was never delivered is being shown in the system as delivered. This causes financial harm and seriously damages my trust in both Yemeksepeti and the Köfteci Yusuf brand.

For this order (#w897-2602-zgbk), I request a refund of the amount I paid, an investigation into the courier who failed to deliver the order, and an explanation and apology from both Yemeksepeti and Köfteci Yusuf regarding the experience I’ve had. Otherwise, I want to note that I will initiate a chargeback through my bank and pursue the process using my legal rights with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
