Yemeksepeti Delayed My Late-Night Order Then Canceled Without Immediate Refund
I placed an order through the Yemeksepeti app. Although the estimated delivery time was about 50 minutes, the expected time kept getting pushed back every 10 minutes. I ordered at 1:00 a.m., expecting it to arrive by 2:00 a.m. at the latest. But when the restaurant’s closing time, 2:00 a.m., arrived, the delivery time was moved to 3:00 a.m. The restaurant closed, yet my order status still says "courier changed." In the middle of the night, I placed an order with my last bit of money, and no one even tells me, "We can’t deliver, let’s cancel." I contacted support, they canceled the order, but now I’m told I’ll get my money back in 7 days. I used my last bit of money for this. When I asked for a new order to be placed, they suggested I create one myself. With what money? And even if I did, should I expect you to keep me waiting until 5 a.m. after failing to deliver in two hours? This situation is beyond unacceptable.
