I purchased a Xiaomi 13T Pro cellphone from "mi.com" because my current phone had a cracked screen. However, just before the 13T Pro was due to be shipped, my existing phone completely stopped working. This made my need for a new phone more urgent. Here's what happened: I visited the Mi Store on October 5, 2023, and explained my situation. I expressed my intention to buy the Poco F5 Pro instead, but I mentioned that if the 13T Pro was shipped by the next day (October 6, 2023), I would return it unopened. If not, I would open it and use it without returning it. Unfortunately, the store representative was uncooperative and mentioned something about sales targets unrelated to my situation. She suggested I buy the phone, use it for a day or two, and then sell it elsewhere, which didn't align with my intentions. Disappointed by the store experience, I left without making a purchase. When we contacted customer service on Friday, we received vague responses about the phone's delivery timeline, with statements like "it may come at any time or not." This gave the impression that the Xiaomi warehouse operated independently. On Friday, information surfaced that the 13T Pro had been shipped, but the provided cargo number appeared to be incorrect with the relevant cargo company. Attempts to connect with customer representatives via the "chat" feature failed multiple times. We also tried calling customer services on Monday, but no one answered. In the end, I began using Xiaomi with the Poco F1. I had heard positive recommendations for Xiaomi during my time in Portugal when it wasn't widely available in Turkey. I had developed an attachment to the brand due to both the quality of its products and the statements made by senior executives of the company. Over the years, I've used various Xiaomi products, including Viaomi, Mi Band, and night lights, in addition to their phones. However, my recent experience left me disappointed and gave me the impression that Xiaomi lacks adequate oversight and institutionalization, relying too heavily on individual initiatives.
