X Account Hijacked, Credentials Changed Without Owner's Knowledge
Starting on May 15, 2026, I was no longer able to log into my personal Twitter account under the username "Nigarrr16." At first, I thought this was just a system glitch, so I didn't take it too seriously and opened a new account.
On May 18, when I tried to do a password reset on my old account, I noticed that the email address, phone number, and all other information registered to my username had been changed without my knowledge or permission. Because of this, I wasn't able to regain access to my account through the standard methods.
On June 14, 2026, when I saw that the profile photo on my old account, which I couldn't log into, had changed, and that posts in Chinese were being made from my account, I realized for certain that my account had been hijacked. None of the posts, actions, or changes made on this account since May 15, 2026, belong to me.
I didn't click on any suspicious links, didn't log in through any third-party app, and didn't share my password or login information anywhere else. As soon as I noticed the situation, I filled out X's help form and submitted a report, but since I noticed it late, I still haven't gotten a response from the support team.
For the sake of my personal security and reputation, I'm requesting that the account in question be returned to me, or if that's not possible, that the account be shut down entirely.
