Refund Requested for Unauthorized Wix Luxembourg Transaction
On June 14, 2026, at 6:50 PM, Wix Luxembourg processed a one-time charge of approximately $56 from my account without my knowledge, request, or authorization. What is most concerning is that I do not have a Wix account, subscription, or any purchase associated with this amount. I only became aware of the transaction after receiving a notification from my bank at approximately 10:15–10:20 PM, and I immediately began taking action.
As my first step, I initiated a payment dispute through my Yapı Kredi Bank regarding this unauthorized transaction. I also contacted Wix by email to report the unauthorized charge. However, I have not received any response or meaningful assistance to date.
A payment being processed without my knowledge or consent, especially by a company with which I have no active account or business relationship, is extremely concerning from both a security and consumer protection perspective.
I respectfully request that the full amount of approximately $56 be refunded to my account immediately. I also request a detailed written explanation of how and why this transaction was processed, including the records associated with the payment and the basis on which my payment information was used. I ask that this matter be investigated urgently to ensure that no similar unauthorized transactions can occur in the future.
