Wingie Airline Ticket Refund: Dispute Over Cancellation Fees And Deductions

24

I bought a Sharjah–London–Sharjah round-trip airline ticket via Wingie on 7 September 2026 for travel dates 23 September 2026 to 2 October 2026. The total ticket price I paid was 3,998 AED. I cancelled this ticket on 16 September 2026 through Wingie. After the cancellation, a refund of 2,375 AED (approximately 2,365.41 AED shown in the system) was issued to my card. According to my understanding of the airline’s and Wingie’s conditions, and considering the applicable penalties, I calculated that my refund should have been around 2,900 AED. In other words, I believe an excessive penalty or deduction has been applied, and the breakdown of the cancellation and refund has not been presented to me in a clear and transparent way. I am requesting a detailed written explanation of all amounts deducted during the cancellation, including airline penalty, service fees and any other costs, and a recalculation of my refund. If a higher refund is actually due according to the airline’s rules and Wingie’s own Terms of Use, I expect the missing amount to be paid back to my card without delay.
