I keep getting scam calls from +234 numbers—how can I find out who’s behind them?

The +234 country code belongs to Nigeria, but it does not prove the caller is actually there: scammers can spoof caller ID so almost any number appears on your screen.

Reverse-number searches may reveal public reports or a registered business, but they usually cannot reliably identify the person behind a spoofed call.

Save the displayed number, date/time, voicemail, callback number and what the caller claimed, but don’t call back or disclose personal, banking or verification-code information.
