Received Suspicious WhatsApp Call from +964 – How Is My Number Exposed?
On February 28, 2025, I received a WhatsApp call from a number with the +964 country code, which I later found out belongs to Iraq. I have no personal or business connections to this country, so this call was completely unexpected and concerning.
I want to make it very clear that I am not responsible for any potential issues that may arise from this call in the future. The full responsibility lies with WhatsApp, as I have no control over who gains access to my phone number.
This raises serious privacy concerns—how are unknown callers obtaining our numbers? I demand an immediate investigation and preventive action from WhatsApp to stop these unsolicited calls. Fix this now!
